Grund zum Feiern hatten auch zwei Salomon-Athletinnen: Während die US-amerikanische Langläuferin Jessie Diggins zum zweiten Mal den Gesamtweltcup gewinnen konnte, feierte die Italienerin Lisa Vittozzi ihren ersten Gesamtweltcupsieg im Biathlon.
